2025 Crop Year Final Area Yields and Final Area Revenues Released for SCO, ECO, ARPI, and Margin Protection

June 11, 2026

The RMA is finalizing the 2025 crop year area yields, area revenues, harvest revenues, harvest margins, and payment factors for four area-based programs – SCO, ECO, ARPI, and Margin Protection – across a wide list of crops. Data will be available by close of business June 16, 2026.

Key Points

  • Supplemental Coverage Option (SCO): final area yields and revenues for 30 crops including Corn, Soybeans, Rice, Cotton-adjacent rotations, Tobacco varieties (Burley, Flue Cured, Fire Cured, Dark Air, Cigar Binder), Peanuts, Sugar Beets, Sunflowers, Sesame, and others in all states (including California).
  • Enhanced Coverage Option (ECO): final area yields and revenues for 23 crops, largely the same SCO commodity set excluding California-specialty items.
  • Area Risk Protection Insurance (ARPI) and Margin Protection (MP): final area yields and revenues for Corn, Popcorn (ARPI only), Grain Sorghum (ARPI only), Soybeans, and Rice.
  • Data publishes by close of business June 16, 2026 under Section 10 of the ECO/SCO endorsements, Section 14 of MP Crop Provisions, and Section 15 of ARPI Crop Provisions.
  • An attachment lists counties where RMA determined final county yields using a substitute production area because the original area had no reported yields – affects Sugar Beets in MT and ND, and Burley Tobacco in KY, TN, and VA. Disposal date: December 31, 2026.

FOR YOUR AWARENESS

Agents and AIPs should review the published area data after June 16 and run payment calculations for affected SCO, ECO, ARPI, and MP policies. Pay particular attention to the substitute-county adjustments in Sugar Beets (Montana and North Dakota counties) and Burley Tobacco (Leslie KY, Claiborne TN, Lee VA) where final county yields were derived from a different production area. Producers do not need to take action - their AIP will process settlements automatically.
