Payton, a native of Delta Colorado, graduated from Tarleton State University in Stephenville Texas with his bachelor’s in business. Before joining Silveus Insurance Group in 2021, Payton partnered with his father and brother on cattle deals, farmed, and owned a trucking business that hauled everything from cattle, to produce, to fertilizer, and more. He has since returned to Delta Colorado where he lives with his wife, Callie, and their two daughters.
Payton specializes in rangeland risk management products such as PRF, AF, and LRP, using his in-depth knowledge of the cattle business to help producers make well-informed risk management decisions. He always focuses on what is best for his producers, making sure to tailor specialized risk management plans with their best interest in mind.
When not working hard to help his producers, Payton enjoys team roping, riding young horses, and spending time with his family.
