The USDA decided to make some changes to the ECO program going into 2025. As a part of these changes, a few new crops were added to be eligible with ECO, and the subsidy was increased to 65%. These changes make ECO something that could be an incredibly valuable product for your risk management strategy.

The subsidy increase brings eco yield protection up 14% from 51%, and ECO revenue protection up 21 % from its original of 44%. (insert information from Cam and Lucas).
