Elena is a Livestock & Nursery Specialist for Silveus Insurance and is the Colorado Branch Manager of Silveus Financial. She studied Ag Business and Economics at West Texas A&M University and Kansas State University, obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree. Elena began her career in the Livestock Risk Management industry, working for Amarillo Brokerage Company and Brookover Feed Yards, where she gained hands-on experience in the cattle markets. While at K-State, she was also a Fellow for the Center for Risk Management Education and Research and developed a broader view of Risk Management in the agricultural industry and beyond. As a Colorado native, she was eager to get back to the mountains and give back to the agricultural community in her home state.
Elena enjoys traveling, live music, and finding the best coffee locally and on the road when she’s not working.
