Kari Heiss

Kari Heiss is a 2008 graduate from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Finance, and a 2006 graduate of Southeast Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration and Marketing. She began her career in the financial industry before joining J.E. Meuret Grain Company in 2014, where she was introduced to Silveus Insurance Group. Today, Kari focuses on supporting operations with cattle, swine, corn, soybeans, and popcorn.

Kari draws on experience from her family’s cow/calf operation to bring a practical, first-hand perspective on ranching to every conversation. Over the past 12 years, she has worked closely with Nebraska ranchers to evaluate how Pasture, Rangeland, Forage (PRF) insurance and Livestock Risk Protection (LRP) may fit into their operations. She takes a personalized approach—helping producers analyze their unique risks and make confident coverage decisions based on their goals.

Kari resides in Orchard, Nebraska with her husband Tate and their two children, where they manage their cow/calf operation and farm corn and soybeans. Outside of work, they enjoy time on the golf course, and visits to Calamus Reservoir.
